Peanut in front, Snoopy running through the grass that needs cut, and Noboo (Richard's dog) outside the fence.
We had a bit of a scare when we returned home Wednesday night. We found that one of our beagles was missing, and had been for three or four days. This is not the first time that the dogs have been out on the run, but the first time Peanut was gone for more than an hour or two. Snoopy had learned to open the gate over a year ago, so we lock our gates with a pin. If someone leaves the pin out, it is just a matter of time before they make their way out and into the woods on the scent of a rabbit or squirrel. Joe drove around yesterday in the direction that they usually run and found her crossing the road near a neighbor's house a mile or so up the road. She was relieved to get home, and I was so glad that she was safe. There are so many things that could have happened to her. They both should get baths today.
